Pangia – A belly dancer favorite for years. Traditional dance tunes on keyboard and oud with rich vocals.

Silk Road Caravan – Large folk ensemble with dancers, popular at the Renaissance Faire. Traditional Arabic, Turkish, Persian, Greek and Armenian repertoire directed by Kevin Cloud.

Kevin Marshall and Tim Bolling – Fun dancer’s band for haflas, restaurants, and parties. Favorite belly dance songs, African music, and various popular western melodies and surprises done with a Middle Eastern twist.

Moh Allileche – Moh is a fantastic Berber musician from Algeria. The music is full of dance-inducing polyrhythms and lush melodies.

Flowers of the Nile – Traditional Egyptian music with oud, violin, vocals, and percussion. Popular with belly dancers throughout Northern California.

Doug Adamz – A wonderful and passionate violinist whose group Light Rain pioneered New Age and World Beat music.


World Music:

RebbeSoul – Tours North America playing rockin’ World and MidEastern Grooves with a lot of soul. Their last CD “Change The World With A Sound” was the #1 world music album on college radio in America. Look for a new CD and tour later this year.

Tres Mojo – An eclectic, diverse jam band filling the dance floor at clubs and festivals around the SF bay area. Keyboard and organ driven music best described as ‘jazzy world groove.” Look for their regular appearances at Viansa winery in beautiful Sonoma, and at Jupiter in Berkeley.

Ray Cepeda – Latin and Brazilian songs and flavors, with wonderful vocals, searing guitar, and lush rhythms.
